About usChyun Yih Tape Co., Ltd. was founded in October 1979 at Tam-Sui, a small town near Taipei. We focused on producing OPP packaging tape at the beginning. After 12 years, in 1991, to satisfy the increasing need for specialized tapes from our customers, we moved and built a new modern factory at Taoyuan Kuan Yin Industrial Center. The new plant and modern process performs automatically in coating, slitting, rewinding, cutting and packaging. With advanced facilities, we also started producing a wide range of tapes such as OPP packing tapes, stationary tapes, kraft paper tapes and PVC tapes to a very high quality grade. We also provide cloth tapes, margin tapes, masking tapes, plating tapes, Kapton tapes for the PCB industry, and polyester tapes for transformers. Recently, we started producing cover tapes for MLCC procedure and top/button tapes for our buyers.
ISO 9001 certification
In 1994, we were certified to ISO 9001. Our market distribution is worldwide, specializing in the area of South East and Middle East Asia. To extend the market share, we began the expansion of production lines toward Putian, Dong Guan and Shanghai in mainland China in 1993. From the beginning of business till today, all of our products bear the brand name, Shark Tape, as our trademark. Today, we also supply custom orders to leading companies all over the world.
